We left the western Chicago suburbs a week ago, and today we made it to Cincinnati! It was quite a trek across Indiana, but we made it. Almost 500 total miles biked - not quite 10% there!
Springs at Liberty Township Apartments is northeast of Cincinnati. Interestingly, they seem to name roads for their beginning and end points. Our community is on Hamilton Mason Road - a thoroughfare that goes from Hamilton, OH to Mason, OH. We are pretty close to Cin-Day Road, which connects Cincinnati and Dayton. Not a bad idea for directionally challenged people like me!
We spent just enough to time at Springs to check out a great shopping area right down the street, Liberty Town Center. Although we were there during the day, you can tell it must be hopping in the evenings, with great places to eat. Our future residents will love it! My favorite place was Celebrate Local because had such interesting Ohio items and gave us a taste of the local culture.
Being in Cincinnati, we had to have their famous chili. Most people have heard of Skyline Chili, and we were going to stop there, but Meghan, who has some relatives in the area, suggested we try Gold Star Chili. Excellent choice!
Before we left we were able to shoot a short video, then it was on to Springs at Winchester Road in Lexington, Kentucky!
WHERE ARE WE NOW?
