We are pleased to announce that Springs at Allison Valley in Colorado Springs, CO has reached stabilization. A significant number of team members played a role in the success of Springs at Allison Valley; it truly was a One Team effort.
At Springs Apartments, stabilization occurs when the community reaches and steadily maintains 95% occupancy. Reaching this goal is an example of how a One Team effort leads to successful projects. Individuals from every department played vital roles in getting us to this point. Springs at Allison Valley was our second community in Colorado developed in late 2016. In total, we have developed 5 Colorado communities, totaling 1,216 apartment homes.
Continental's strategic plan calls for an increase in apartment home developments to continue to meet the demands of the country's housing needs. This means bringing in new general contractors not yet familiar with our Springs brand. Kelly Luther, Continental's Procurement Manager, helped lead Pavilion Construction through their first Springs Apartments development.
