Continental's Springs Development Team 1 announced the closing on September 9, 2016 of the third Louisiana Springs - a 14.02 acre lot for a 252 apartment community to be known as Springs at Country Club.
Lake Charles is located about midway between New Orleans and Houston. It is one of the fastest growing economies in the nation, with 3.5% annual job growth that far exceeds the national rate of 1.9%. It is a major center of petrochemical refining, gaming, tourism, and education, being home to McNeese State University and Sowela Technical Community College. The recently announced $1.5 billion Port Cameron deep water port project is an indication that the Lake Charles economy will continue to grow.
Once again the entire Continental team across multiple disciplines came together on this project to bring it to closing. Congratulations to all!
