Continental Properties has several ongoing traditions that set our organization apart and help solidify our recognition as a Top Workplace USA. One of these traditions is the annual Challenge Meetings. At this meeting, Home Office team members meet with Continental’s senior leadership to discuss strengths and opportunities at Continental.
Being a 9-time consecutive "Top Workplace" winner is not a mistake. Part of what makes Continental a great place to work is our shared passion for what we do. It's our drive for continuous improvement and agile team members that makes Continental successful. It is vital to transmit elements of our culture from those who have been here for some time to those who are relatively new; these meetings are an actualization of Continental's tradition of insisting on absolute honesty and an opportunity to never settle for the status quo.
This year, team members participated in roundtable discussions held at the Dheinsville Historic Park. Each discussion was facilitated by two senior leaders who, at the end of the session, met to summarize the groups' talking points with the larger group.
It wouldn't be a Continental event without team bonding and dinner afterwards. This year, team members had the opportunity to dunk senior leadership by donating to our Continental Cares fund.
Time-honored practices are important to a living organization. Traditions at Continental are not rigid; rather, they give us a framework for creativity and growth while connecting us to the things that have made us great.
